We — M/s. N. Prashad Construction, currently known as GlobalTunneling — were founded in 2008 in New Delhi, starting out by providing drilling services for the installation of tube wells and hand pumps. As demand grew across Indian infrastructure, we expanded into a full range of trenchless and ground-engineering services.
Within a short period, and through hard work and honesty, we began working as a direct contractor with Malaysia Water Supply, RailTel, City Com Network, Larsen & Toubro, VA Tech Wabag Ltd, Semantra Sdn Bhd, BETO Machinery and Acexide Technology.

Trenchless technology, engineered end to end
A form of underground construction that requires the use of few or no trenches at the surface — new techniques and equipment to install or replace underground infrastructure without disturbing what's above it: traffic, business, residential areas or sensitive properties.
Micro Tunneling
A single-pass, closed-face tunnelling system used to install pipes between two access points through virgin ground, from approximately 500mm to 6500mm in diameter. The closed-face system prevents excavated earth from washing around the cutting face, allowing work well below the water table. Because of the small diameter, an operator cannot ride the machine — it is remotely operated via computer console, CCTV camera or gyro unit.

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
A steerable trenchless method for pipe installation in a shallow arc along a prescribed bore path, using a surface-launched drilling rig with minimal impact on the surrounding area. We provide professional HDD drilling crew services for crossings up to 1000 metres in soft ground, hard rock, sandy and swampy conditions — across rivers, canals and dams — plus complete job planning, design, drawing and engineering, including selection of tooling and accessories.

Pipe Jacking
A remotely controlled pipe jacking operation that provides continuous support to the drill face by applying mechanical or fluid pressure during excavation. Hydraulic rams in a jacking frame push pipe sections behind the machine as it advances, with bentonite slurry lubrication used to reduce ground friction over longer drives — and interjacks deployed on longer runs to add pushing force mid-line.
Manshield Tunneling
A conventional jacking technique carried out mechanically by labour, with the pipe acting as support for the tunnel face at the pressure required to prevent subsidence — a proven method for shorter, smaller-diameter drives where full mechanisation isn't required.

Less damage to the surrounding area, less traffic disruption, deeper and longer installation runs, shorter completion time, strong directional capability, avoidance of subsurface utility damage, and a materially more environmentally friendly footprint than open-cut alternatives.
